SDI, a leader in MRO supply chain management services, announced Monday, June 4th that Andrew D. Cvitanov has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer. Andy brings a wealth of leadership and experience in the business services sector and outsourcing. Andy joins SDI from CDI Corporation, where he was most recently President of CDI IT Solutions. Andy turned CDI IT Solutions from an underperforming business to an industry leader. Prior to that he was Managing Director of The Beekman Group, a New York based private equity firm, and held various senior leadership positions with American Express, Tokai Financial Services and Continental Information Systems Corporation.
“I am very pleased to have Andy join the SDI leadership team.” said Jack Gavin, Chairman of SDI’s Board of Directors. “With Andy’s leadership and customer-focused approach, SDI will continue to be a force in the MRO Supply Chain Services industry.” After assuming the role of CEO while leading the executive search, Mr. Gavin will be transitioning back to his role as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
