SDI Announces Scott Morehous has Joined SDI’s Business Development Team

June 9, 2015—Bristol, PA. SDI, the leading provider of Maintenance, Repair and Operations Supply Chain Management Services in North America, earlier this week announced that Scott Morehouse has joined the company as Vice President of Business Development.

In the rapidly changing world of supply chain management, Scott Morehous provides a laser focus on the MRO supply chain, bringing over 15 years of MRO expertise in new business development, key account management and integrated supply—as a District Manager and Vice President of National Accounts with Fastenal Company, a global supplier of MRO products, where he developed and led the company’s integrated supply business. Prior to his work at Fastenal, Morehous spent ten years serving in the United States Navy.

“Scott’s deep focus on MRO coupled with his leadership and innovation in integrated supply makes him a perfect addition to SDI’s business development team,” said Jim Owens, SDI’s Senior Vice President of Business Development. “Both SDI and our clients will benefit greatly from the added value he brings.”

“I’m excited to join the team and help SDI connect with the numerous companies that may not even know a more holistic solution to MRO exists,” said Morehous. “What SDI is doing—connecting all the pieces of this indirect supply chain—is a very innovative approach and truly keeps their clients’ best interests at heart.”

The addition of Morehous is part of SDI’s ongoing commitment to change perspectives on MRO and transform it into a supply chain that enables efficient manufacturing and core business processes.
