SDI, a leader in MRO supply chain management services, announced that Louay Khatib has joined the company as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, Louay will lead the company’s Finance and Accounting Team. “SDI is recognized as the innovator of integrated supply services for MRO.” Said SDI CEO, Andy Cvitanov. “Louay brings a unique combination of skill sets to SDI and our Clients, further solidifying our industry leadership position. With significant experience in service-based organizations, he brings a strong financial background focused on delivering value through process excellence.”
Louay has over 20 years of financial and professional services leadership experience. Most recently, he was Chief Compliance Officer at ARAMARK Corporation, a global Fortune 250 food and facilities management services company, where he was responsible for designing, implementing and overseeing ARAMARK’s first global Compliance Program. At ARAMARK he led a number of successful operational and multi-disciplinary business process transformations across the enterprise.
Prior to joining ARAMARK, Louay was a senior audit manager at Ernst & Young LLP serving public, multi-national clients across a wide range of industries, both in the US and overseas. While at Ernst & Young, Louay served in the firm’s US and UK Audit practices, the firm’s UK Mergers & Acquisitions practice, and in Ernst & Young’s National Office as financial reporting manager of the UK firm.
Louay is a Certified Public Accountant and a UK Chartered Accountant. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics and Accounting from the University of Bristol in England. Louay is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
