In the rapidly changing world of supply chain management, it is important for business leaders to maintain a competitive edge. CSCR is one of the premier research centers in business logistics and supply chain management and currently partners with more than 50 sponsor organizations from a variety of industries.
The sponsorship is part of SDI’s ongoing commitment to change perspectives on Maintenance, Repair and Operations and transform it into a supply chain that enables efficient manufacturing and core business processes.

SDI will actively participate in CSRC advisory meetings to review plans and stay up-to-date on research programs as well as network with fellow corporate sponsors, faculty and students to share best practices and workshop common issues facing the industry.

These forums, held twice a year are uniquely formatted to drive purposeful discussion and seek commonalities in business practices. The theme at the fall event was Supply Chain Visibility and Alignment, a key concern addressed by SDI’s Enterprise MRO solution.
Last week, SDI was excited to recruit at Penn State’s Supply Chain Career Fair, part of a series of targeted career fairs at Penn State’s University Park campus. With over 700 students and 110 industry professionals, the three-day Supply Chain Career Fair that kicked off the events starting on Tuesday, Sept. 9, further supported SDI’s focus to provide the highest quality people, processes and technology to manage MRO to a level that is unmatched in the industry.
